How Momentum Training Club Was Built For Busy Parents and Professionals
The Story of Momentum Training Club
At Momentum Training Club, we help busy parents and professionals build a fitness routine that fits into their life giving them more energy, strength, and confidence so they can excel at home, at work, and in life.
Momentum has been decades in the making. I’ve been in the gym for over 20 years, and like many people, my goals have evolved over time.
- In high school, I was chasing aesthetics. I wanted to be the jacked kid.
- Later, I discovered powerlifting and competed nationally and internationally, chasing performance.
- Then came CrossFit, where the challenge became mastering new skills.
But when my son was born, everything shifted. Suddenly, time and energy were scarce, and training couldn’t just be about me anymore. It needed to give back to my life. It needed to make me a better father, husband, and professional and it had to be sustainable. That realization became the foundation of Momentum Training Club.
As parents and professionals, we juggle so much: showing up for our kids, supporting our partners, performing at work, and managing endless responsibilities at home. With so much on our plate, it’s easy for self-care to slide. But here’s the truth: when we invest in our health, everything else improves. We have more energy to play with our kids, more focus at work, and we become role models for our families.
From my own journey and working with clients, I’ve found that successful fitness programs for busy people need to include:
- Clarity: Someone to tell you exactly what to do.
- Efficiency: Workouts that deliver results in limited time.
- Energy: Training that fuels your life, not drains it.
- Support: Accountability and a plan flexible enough to adapt when life gets chaotic.
Unfortunately, most fitness options miss the mark:
- Big box gyms leave you to figure it out on your own.
- Group classes are fun but rarely tailored to your goals.
- Online programs are generic and hard to stick with.
That’s why we built Momentum Training Club around semi-private training. It’s the best of both worlds: a personalized program, designed by a coach who knows your goals and challenges, delivered in a small group setting (up to 4 people). You get the accountability, structure, and support of personal training, plus the energy and camaraderie of training alongside others.
